Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:

Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.

Open Safari Preferences:

Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.

Our first novel to read will be The Witch of Blackbird Pond. It is a classic novel based on the Salem Witch Trials. We will be completing activities and worksheets based on this novel. I might call on you to read sometimes, but mostly I will be the one reading because I want you to hear the cadence, and emotion that the characters are feeling. Because when you read you need to read it with the appropriate emotion and tone.
