Cranfills Gap  “The Gap”, nestled within the rolling hills of central Texas, is located in western Bosque County, forty-two miles northwest of Waco. Cranfills Gap was the first town in the nation to sell more than its quota in the Fourth War Loan Drive of World War II.

With a population of approximately 281, everyone feels welcome and at home. Cranfills Gap ISD is a  small pk-12, 1A school with approximately 130 students. We play the fast and furious “6-Man Football”. Annual events include September Fest held the second Saturday in September, Bacon Bash held in October, Lutefisk held the first Saturday in December, the 4th of July Celebration and numerous other activities and events for the entire family.
